delaware duck hunting

So I had this Sim who just had her 5th baby with no long breaks between pregnancies, so obviously she was a little cranky and her needs were suffering.

I was doing my best to make her try to keep up all her needs bars but it got to the point where she wouldnapos;t eat because she was too sleepy, but she wouldnapos;t sleep because she was too hungry. She died shortly after.

Does anybody have any hints or advice on what you can do when you are in that trap? How do I make a SIM sleep or eat when they refuses to do either because both bars are too low?
